I agree to a certain extent with you on that.
Certainly at the last election the post review suggested people saw the can do action of the level crossing removals and other projects. Just feel though the scales have dropped from people's eyes with the CW Games matter and they seem him now as deceitful. It's hard to shift that perception

remember michelle gratten commenting on it - said it completely blindsided the canberra press gallery - and they didnt take kindly to that as they believed they were part of the power structure (saw it as a breach of an unwritten contract if you like) ..... from that moment on the press gallery had it in for her and were only to happy to cover/highlight/accentuate/push anti alp stories as payback to let her know that canberra power was a shared gift

The use of hotels was also entirely Dans idea at National Cabinet according to his supporters in April 2020 when it was working.

Quarantine worked in every other state. In Adelaide we had city hotels doing it.
The only inquiry was into Andrews govt. 768 people dead and 111 days locked down.
