Anyone heard about Sandilands? I heard he might be out?

For ****'s sake. Just as I settle on trading out Mumford for Sandilands, now they're both in doubt

Thinking I might just keep Mumford now that I know the details of his injury. If it's only an infection, the antibiotics should clear it up completely and he'll be back to full strength soon enough, rather than if it was just a regular back injury in which case he'd probably take a few games to get back to full strength*. Plus knowing my luck if I trade Mumford for Sandi then Mumford will play this round and Sandi will miss. Not going to waste a trade when both players are in doubt.

*The above post is a good old Aussie wild guess diagnosis made with absolutely no medical knowledge. Anybody with medical knowledge, feel free to correct me.

From AFL site Tuesday
"Ruckman Aaron Sandilands is in doubt with a calf complaint"

Is this fresh news or crap ? Anyone ?
Wasnt that his problem last season and over the summer ?
Code for resting or genuine issue ?

Edit: just went back a page and read..looks like i'm last to know.

The trouble with the media now is that we dont know if that came from the club itself, or whether the Journalist involved saw the rumour on big footy.

Being the AFL site rather than the HUN it might be credible.

Came from the big fellas mouth which was shown on last nights news in the west.

We wont know if Birchall is playing or not. We will with Fyfe and Sandi as they play friday and we will know late outs and subs.

I meant in reference to last w/e.

But yeah Fyfe example is more relevant as Sandi and him are both Ross Lyon shenanigans and you do get to see the late outs.

Im worried Stanton and Watson are going to do hammies look like they could.

^Hope the extended break they get now will have their hammies in top shape then..

FFS! Mumford out again this week due to his back infection! Problem is, there isnt really another reliable premo to trade him out for.. esp with Sandi and his calf problems.
And to think at the start of the year, we had an "embarrassment" of choices for premo rucks: Cox, Sandi, Leuy, McEvoy, Mummy, Jacobs, Goldy, Hale, Kreuz, HMac.. well they've all been pretty average! :thumbsd: (exception of 211, but theres just so much doubt with him)

But they know what the problem with mummy is, a course of antibiotics should fix him up, if u have held him for this long, might as well wait 1 more week
