If not, seeing as it's another long-injury, you'd think Veszpremi might get elevated (he's still a rookie?).

No one really knows with the rookie list, there is no list on the interwebs anywhere.Smith definitely has been promoted because he played on the weekend. With so many LTI, there isn't any problem promoting rookies, salary cap issues aside, so if they believe if MOD or any other rookie is deserving of a promotion they would have no problems doing so.

Its been said, but its not fair that Smith only gets a game every 8 weeks .. unfair and it would hinder his development rather than benefit from it. Keep him in for a few more weeks.

I'd hope they're shortening but you never know with Roos, still pessimistic without giving up all hope. But maybe he'll get a go now....

It's been a horror knee year for us in 2008.

Malceski, Schmidt, Everitt, Laidlaw, Fosdike, Thornton and Davis have all had their year's seriously affected or ruined by knee injuries of some kind (and soft tissue injuries that might well be a knock on effect of the knee injury and/or lack of conditioning). Plus Kennelly has mostly played on through a less serious knee injury but it is clearly affecting his confidence in his running ability.
