Down at training atm and e-Mac has gone into the rooms with a leg injury of some sort, hard to tell exactly what it was as he wasn't rubbing anything but was noticeably restricted. Can only hope it was a corky as it was during a match simulation exercise!

Hopefully Kerr can build up to playing after the bye.

If Brown is fit Mackenzie won't be too missed.

Fingers crossed Shep is ok for round 1.

If we are ever going to have a game with both eMac and Brown missing - North would be it (with only hansen and perhaps a resting ruckman forward). Glass and Schofield should be sufficient

Does anyone know if neates copped an injury recently? His FB profile states "surgery. really". Scotty lycett doesn't even know what's going on... maybe a non-football related procedure.

Hows the "future magpie" mitch brown's shoulder going??? will he be set for round 1? maybe round 2?
p.s i could only wish for the future magpie :p

Ryan Neates: Yeh got a hernia sort of thing. Go under the knife on wed

Wow, Selwood recovered quickly from a 1-2 week hammy to "test". :)

Woosha said Naitanui was likely to play tonight on 7 News. He said he's just giving him the longest possible time to prove his fitness.

Apparently Priddis got a bad cork against Fremantle in our final scratch match and will have to pass a fitness test this week. I saw some vision on TV showing him jogging laps with A.Selwood yesterday.

Not sure what's happening with McKenzie either. I think he was withdrawn from Claremont's side on the weekend. If he's not right, we really need Mitch Brown to be available.

If we were to have a week missing both of eMAc and Brown - this would be the week to have it. North will only have one tall in Hansen - so Glass and Schofield could hold down the tall defensive posts.

Though from all reports - emac was withdrawn from Claremont - not due to injury - but rather due to the fact that he had enough conditioning and we didn't need to risk him.

Scott Burns was saying on Sports Central last night that MacKenzie, Brown and Selwood were the only injury queries for round 1.
