He did swing his leg out but it should be seen as accidental contact. In round 1 the MRR panel set precedence with the Luke Hodge trip on Nigel Lappin and he was not sighted so hopefully Marty Mattner will not be sighted also but who knows.

Who knows?! Luke Hodge got nothing for something very similar, my first reaction was he's gone 1-2 weeks... Couldn't believe the book got brought out for Lappin's 'wrong-footing' but not Mattner's hack.

Don't talk about precendence when it comes to the AFL. The eye gouging is just one example (Farmer VS Holland). Silly move but he should get off

Lappin's charge won't make it to the tribunal.
Mattner's almost certainly will.

So have I ! I mean it ! Those "Church of God" girls used to put the fear of Ch***t up me and I was only the boyfriend scoring (so to speak).

I wonder if it was the angle the dopey umpy was looking from that made it look worse from his perspective ?
