Good to see kids like this get a go. The Eastern Ranges overlook kids that don’t play with div 1 or 2 teams in the EFL, so I hope he gets a chance after going through it the hard way.

I played footy with his dad, one of the best club men you would meet.

They identify kids with talent and push them to play in div 1 or 2 as it is of a better standard and will help with their development. This becomes a bit of an issue if kids are happy playing with their mates, which unintentially implies a lack of desire to 'make it.' At the end of the day, if a kid is a jet he will be put into the program.

Adelaide has re-committed to rookie listing him on a 1 year deal. From what I've been told he would only move interstate if he was on a senior list and a multi year deal. I don't think a senior list spot or multi year deal will be forthcoming for him, particularly from us.
