With Alwyn Davey not playing in the Anzac Day match against Collingwood, I reckon it'd be a perfect time to blood Darcy Daniher. Anyone agree/disagree?

No don't agree. Davey played a big role in our midfield rotations. Can't see Daniher filling that role.

We have bought in a tall in Johns and now lost a runner, why would we want to bring in another tall.

We have been too top heavy on the G before and it has shown.

Either Pev or JJ for me as we don't have any other runners ready to play or not injured.

With Rocca out, if he is, Collingwood are going to have a small side and we may not even have a match up for Mal.

Need another runner.

I'm not sure how it works but we might have to pay a fine for playing JJ, it could be worth it under the circumstances.

It's all good and well to try to play tall if they are short but if those players don't mark the ball, you're history.

You also lose rotations through the middle and ball winners.

I have no confidence in Johns and Darcy has played 2 games with Bendigo and if we were too short i would be happy for him to play, but not when we are missing a few runners.

It can also mean that they run us off our legs and we have fewer players to have a go through the midfield helping out the guys run out the game. Plus, Daniher is a young player and has a lot of time to get fitter and develop his game, Lovett-Murray or Pev should come in.

Another thing to remember is that Collingwood are now playing their 2nd match in a row off a six day break. Fraser alluded to this during the week when he mentioned the players were a bit tired and sore.

We don't want to slow the game down by going in too top heavy. We want to run and try and exploit their tiredness wherever possible.

Daniher would add nothing to our team against the Collingwood structure as it stands today.

For the team balance...I would say no.

For the occasion and for our future...I would say yes.

I believe we'll learn a lot about him, if he does play. But having said that, I won't expect too much...some contribution from him and I will be happy. It's like 5 to 6 games worth of experience, with final like atmosphere.

I think I remember Scott Lucas making his debut on Anzac day all those years ago. (Correct me if I am wrong).

Think of anyone else made their debut on this day for the Bombers?
