His insane accuracy this year is helping his results...
Actual scoring shots after 10 rounds this year = 45 (36g 9b) ... last year = 48 (29g 19b)

The grubber goals from the goal square are helping his accuracy this year no doubt.

Look, it's not a huge issue as the goals are still comming OK but as has been stated... a few more marks on the lead and shots from 35 to 40 out would complete the package.

No biggy...

By his goal kicking stats , 1 goal per game better than last year , he is on track to kick a ton ,

not quite mr freeze, he averaged 3.5 goals a game last season this yr hes averaged 3.6i think we are talking 0.1 not 1.0.

last yr he averaged 5.3 scoring shots per game this yr its down to 4.5

his job is to kick goals and i dont think anyone can complain that hes not kicking goals.

without looking though i would say hes down on last yr in tackles contested marks possesions and work rate one percenters etc.

what happens if he goes thru a period of say 8 possesions and very few goals a game he becomes a liability.

all im saying is we definately want greater output in other areas so when the goals do dry up and they will at some stage he continues to make a significant contribution. i would like to see him bring others into games more rather than whats happening now.his input at times is minimal goals aside of course.i suppose you would call it rounding his game off.
its why i think hardwick wanted to play him up the ground more at the start of the season.
and to the sensitive ones this is not a criticism of jack hes shown himself to be a very good player i just think its what he needs to do to get even better and improve.

All round good post which I and many others here agree with (judging by past posts) except for bolded.

He isn't getting many possessions, and isn't marking as much, nobody can disagree with that. However his team-orientated stats are excellent, as posted by Bazzar (left the Buddy comparison in as its very relevant, Franklin is getting a heap more possessions this year).

Reiwoldt - Buddy

36 (3.6) Goals 35 (3.9)
15 (1.5) Behinds 34 (3.8)
17 (1.7) Score assists 12 (1.3)
16 (1.6) Score involvement 12(1.3)
13 (1.3) Goal assist 4 (0.4)
123 (12.3) I5o Target 113 (12.6)
10 (1.0) Tackles I50 7 (0.8)

As I said, we're all just about on the same page with Jack at the moment bar the people with ridiculous expectations. However, opinion based on watching games is well and good claws but its helpful to check stats to back them up first, Jack has set up a lot of good goals this year.

Jack isnt goin that bad hes still kicken 3 - 5 goals a game. His best game this season was in round 1 when he kicked 6 and Richmond nearly bet Carlton. :) Go Jack

In reference to this stage of the year old Claws , and my addition to this stge last year had him at 26 goals , but someone else has stats indicating 29. So maybe I didn't add them up correctly ( which is feasible ) or my reference was dodgy ?
