Well folks, here we go again at this #$%^ing venue. I think/hope that St Kilda is travelling badly enough that we might be able to break our hoodoo at this ground. I don't know why, but as soon as our players step off the 86 tram at Docklands they revert to high functioning chimps. Watching them try to move the ball from defence at this ground is like watching Billy Brownless try to solve a rubiks cube.
The issue, IMHO, is the smaller dimensions of the ground, which makes the full press even more effective. It's going to be interesting to watch how we go about it this time. Keeping our structure is going to be a major part of it, we need to always have a couple of forwards ahead of the ball so the opposition can't overcommit to the zone. Having Bate in the team will help with this.
Thoughts?
