Deplorable quarter.

Agree it looks like we've gone backwards. Might as well have left the footys in the locker and spent the Summer on the X-Box boys.

It might only be JLT but we needed to come out way more switched on, especially considering the last 2 seasons.

Nothing has changed. Probably worse:

1. Kick-outs - long, wide, crowded
2. Transition from defence - slow, high, congested
3. Stoppages - second to everything
4. Movement up forward - zilch. Dixon standing on the wrong side of three opponents
5. Skills - awful. Dropped marks (Boak, Hartlett), shanked kicks (everyone), handballs to opponents (Wines, Powell-Pepper)
6. No overlap run, poor defence in transition

A nightmare of a first quarter.

KT will come out in rd5 and say I knew we were in trouble two minutes into the first preseason game


Saints look good.

Amazing that nothing has changed for us. Amazing.
