Also weirdly will be annoyed if Walsh wins, don’t think he’s a “deserving” winner this year. If Cripps Doc or Saad win think you can’t complain, even tho one of them won the Brownlow

Yep that's how it went.

In the year Swan won I think Judd was an even bigger favourite, though. Iirc Sportsbet and the like paid out the win in about rd18...

I even had mates who don't really follow AFL but knew how far ahead he (supposedly) was through the year and were saying he's basically playing with the medal on each week. But yes like you said in your next post they both deserved one anyway, the years were just the wrong way round.

It's a really good point though. How the hell do you go from Best Young Player at the BnF to delisted.

Highly rated by the old regime, much less so by the new...
