Has had a roller coaster ride that echoes our season really.

Incredible effort to not just come back from 2.5 years on the sidelines, but to win the Coleman medal and at times look like the dominant player we know he can be.

And then arguably cost us our spot in finals with sloppy and selfish football when it mattered most.

As much as anyone he defines our team: highly paid, highly regarded, personal success and yet can't stay healthy, went to water on the biggest stage and can't make finals.

Should get ripped by the media this week for kicking around the body and rushing his kick (not giving his exhausted team mates a rest, not running the clock down) and rightfully so. Should also probably put his Coleman medal in a box and get back on the training track.

Our best story of the year (along with Doch) and should be the face of our worst. Congrats... I guess

Talk about selfish? Good job on turning a congratulatory thread into another negative one full of nonsense where people throw their toys out of the cot because THEY didn't get what they wanted.

Well done to him on a great year and winning the Coleman after all the adversity to just even get back on the park.

Hopefully with maturity and big gameday experience we got at the end of the year especially he will play more accountable football when it comes to goal kicking and his forward craft and making every moment count which will come as he has all the tools like most of our players it's just mental application.

Going to run on a theory that because it was his first full year back after missing the previous two was he probably fatigued late in the year and what he is being raked across the hot coals for is more to do with that, the effort was there, maybe he just tired out.

What a stellar year, really, for Curnow. Given where he'd been, we could not have possibly asked for more this season.

He's an extraordinary talent and if we stays more or less fit and we make better use of him, there's no reason he doesn't have about another 400-odd goals to kick.

Congratulations Charlie. Amazing effort to win Coleman from where you have come from. Delivery into forward line was also ordinary on many occasions throughout the year but he made something out of nothing in many contests.

The great thing about Charlie & McKay winning the Coleman back to back is the confidence they have got in a team with a game plan which has been evolving. They are both capable of swinging a game in no time. Exciting to watch in the years to come. Our wings/half forwards have not provided the consistent weighting/delivery of the ball like other teams. This must change.

As the dust settles, they will be both proud of their achievement, as I'm sure many of us are.

They will be both hurting after those close losses big time. No doubt, winning a Coleman won't be front and centre in the future, but rather how they combine to win games for the Blues. There is plenty of growth in this team, including from these two.
