Saints should of hoped for Dogs to win today. Now that first round pick is too high for bruce even by the average saints poster. I expect if saints get dogs first there would be something else coming back to get it done. Saints need 2 high picks and at least of those as a first round for Hill because he wont go for just pick 5. Maybe something like 5 and 11 to freo for hill, dogs get bruce and a future 2nd from freo.
😐Ummmmmmm No. Sorry but thats completely ridiculous

Nah, we have the leverage, if Naughton is out for an extended amount of time then your need for Bruce has gone way up.

Sounds like its the Lateral ligament for Naughty. Not as bad as it could have been.
I would hope it’s not lcl, my understanding from doing a couple of knees and speaking to physios/researching is that it’s pretty unlikely to tear an lcl and not damage the acl or pcl. Fingers crossed for bone bruising as it looked similar to jenkins and seedsman but less of a hyperextension than what they did

If Dogs want Bruce and it seems they do it would only be as a key forward.

I think that it would be extremely unlikely that you would play him anywhere else. I also doubt you would pay a high draft coast for someone who would be fora "bit player" role.

Bruce asa forward pocket would be wasting some of his key attributes.

On Bruce:

He is a much better forward than defender.

He is an aerobics beast. Not quite as good as Rooey at that, but what key forward is?

He plays a very physical game and can be that bash and crash key forward that you do not currently have.

Just a though, but I suspect that Bevo may well see a a Naughton/ Bruce key forward duo as superior to your current duo. So he may only want to still play two key forwards.

I doubt he would move Naughton back, as e looks too good as a key forward. I think Bruce would help to make him an eve better key forward.

Bevo is a smart guy and I think that he would have a very clear idea of what he would want Bruce for.
That half forward/forward pocket comment was in relation to Martin.

Pretty bloody average year for him. Was good in the premiership year but downhill since then
His 2017 and 2018 were way better years than 2016. Not just by a little bit. He improved tremendously from 2016-2017 and had another massive spike in output for 2018.
He was twice the player in 2018 that he was in 2016 and in fact his 2016 number are very close to his 2019 numbers.

Your post is just blatantly incorrect.

After the loss to GWS I think it’s evident Bruce would be very very valuable to the doggies, pick 12 thank you and good night.

Maybe 2020 first rounder and something back(3rd rounder) maybe better for us.

Will be interesting to see what happens if Bruce, Martin and Keath all want to come to the Dogs.

Now Ratts has stated they want to keep Bruce, it's going to take a very good offer to get him by any team....

All three of those guys are probably worth second rounders. If hawthorn get melbournes second for Smith then I could see us trading that and our 2nd to the dogs for 11, we might try to jump ahead of a bid for maginness. Then you could give 20 for martin and 28 for Keath/Bruce

In the end they'd probably take an early 20s pick. If Bruce nominates the dogs saints will need the pick for the other 700 players they want
Contracted player they dont need to take anything that doesnt meet their valuation, I thinking more in the lines of a 2nd rd pick plus player, or mid 1st rd without a player

Yeah no

Again, they need to trade players to get what they want in .. And apparently they are keeping Carlisle so Bruce is pretty much gone
