Oh believe me, I've seen both. Just pointing out your argument based on statistics is poor. Both have been shit this season but Tippett's the only one who's been a bit injured.

Well you're obviously blind. :thumbsu:

Kennedy has been good without being great. Can't expect much more than 13 disposals, 6 marks and 2.7 goals from a young KPP in a losing side over the first 3 games of the season.

Tippet got injured in the 3rd or 4th quarter against Melbourne.

Again based on 2010 Kennedy is comfortably in front.

Yeah, dream on. I've been watching a fair share of WCE games and Kennedy has absolutely been crap. Goes missing way too often, especially at important times (4th quarter against the Lions). If he's a true center half forward, he'd be presenting himself as a target rather than wait for the eagles to go for the usual bomb like they've been doing all this year.

Sure, half his poorness comes from the Eagles midfield being garbage this year, but he could do a lot better. Also, unlike you, I'm not compelled to believe one player is better than the other over 3 games. Tippett was far superior last year and he has the potential to produce this year once Adelaide hit their gear.

Sure you have.;)

More of your usual baseless outlandish crap.

Kennedy works very, very hard for little reward. Is forced to work up the ground and get his own ball far to much.

He was also one of our best against Brisbane.

Tippo has been suffering from knee tendonitos since start of the year. Rolled his ankle on the weekend.

Hey, missed the 4th quarter against Brisbane? If you think Kennedy worked hard in that quarter, you're deluded.

Yeah, nah.

Kennedy always pushes up the ground and presents himself as a target. If our mids could hit targets more often he'd have a few more marks (and kicks) next to his name.

Please point out where i've said Kennedy is a better player based on 3 games douche bag. Comparing their 2010s Kennedy is infront. Easily. However like i've already said you'd have Tippet in front overall due to his 2009.

Also i don't think Tippet was 'far superior' than Kennedy last year. Put Kennedy in 2009's Adelaide team or any other top 6 side and he would have, in my opinion, done as well if not better.

So we're told now, but why was he played at times in the ruck in both of the first 2 games if he has knee issues?

Because Moran and Sellar are injured, Maric has been injured, McKernan and Craig are still too raw, and Griffin is a spud.

I don't sit in the coaches box to be able to give you that answer. I suspect it has to do with our lack of options in ruck through injury. Sellar is our prefered 2nd ruck but has a hammy :(

Yeah, nah.

Your midfielders need to use Kennedy more often when he leads into the midfield. No offense, but he's a player in your side who actually uses the ball well, which has been one of your weaknesses.

Thanks for proving you gave up watching the Lions vs WCE game after the third quarter. I suppose it really was obvious what was coming however, it doesn't mean you have to make the excuse that Kennedy played well and presented, because he didn't.

I completely agree with this :thumbsu:

Wtf?

As a team we stopped running and 'presenting' in the last quarter against Brisbane.. that and the fact that a certain J Brown ripped us a new one.

Over the 3 games Kennedy has played well, definately better than Tippet. You'd be one of few flogs to think otherwise. :)

Are you stupid? I didn't say Tippett had been better than Kennedy this season. I said they've both been shit, just Tippett's been slightly injured over it.

Kennedy was in and out of quarters against Port as well. Most of his touches came late and did absolutely nothing in the first half.

I'd still take Tippett easily.

I think you're the one thats mentally challenged.

13 touches, 6 marks and 2.7 goals a game from a young CHF in a side thats 0-3 is a pretty good return (especially considering our average movement of the ball into the forward line), definately above average as opposed to being shit that you keep bleating on and on.

Like the whole team Kennedy has been 'in and out' of games.

Been good and no doubt will continue to improve.

Oh my god, stats, big whoop. They don't prove anything. Do you even watch your own team play?

Kennedy has been playing well to start the season, watching games and the statistics support this.

Didn't realise it was so hard to understand.

God your head's as thick as a brick.

Ever care to explain why he goes missing in quarters then? Where was he in the 4th quarter against Brisbane? Dropped easy marks, didn't lead, didn't do shit. Tonight, he gets involved a lot in the first quarter, does nothing in the second. What's the excuse?

As I previously stated, stats are one of the traditionally stupid arguments you dumb West Coast supporters love to use even though it hardly proves anything. Kennedy has been very inconsistant this season.

Yet still managed to have an impact tonight.

Has become a very reliable kick on goal also.

Give it a rest, he isn't killing it but hes playing ok for a young guy. Patches of some great defensive pressure and 3 goals was an ok reward.

GB, its apparent that your comprehension skills are lacking (among other things) so try and read D&M's post slowly.

Kennedy hasn't been a superstar. No one is saying that.

He has been good/solid. He has gone missing at times, just like many other young (and senior) players for us. That doesnt mean that he has been playing well from an overall point of view.

Again, not fantastic.. but he has been good.

He has also this year been much better than Tippet who has to date been spud like (granted though that Tippet has injury niggles but when its said and done you assume if he is picked he is fit to play).

Tippett is a basketballer spud who can't kick.

JK, although raised by basketballer parents, learnt how to kick. JK is a good kick, good mark and has football nouse.

JK is a much more valuable player than Tippett will ever be.
