Didn't hear SEN so I can't comment on who it was, but Rennis was an embarrassment last night. She's become the resident Peter Hoare i.e serial pest.

I was there and didn't find anything she had to say embarrassing. She made some excellent points last night.

Like in the WAG Mag this year where Bomber wrote that our pre-season had been one of the best in his time at the club, yet only weeks later was talking about how bad our pre-season had been and how under-prepared we were. So which one is it?

Then there was her point about giving the fans an assurance that if we get off to a bad start next year that we wont wait a whole year before launching a review and will take action when we recognise a problem.

Every one of her points last night was valid.

I heard it, and it definitely was Rennis, made some good points (not many) just ridiculous in what she said about winning the first 6, or at least 5 out of the 6. If this doesn't happen, then serious changes should made then and there (words to that effect). To the Coach and Board.

yeah have to agree with that. The club is trying to sell memberships at the start of the year so of course they are going to talk it up. Bomber has been doing that ever since he has been here, which is why cook and costa love him. He has been good for the bottom line (until this year naturally and the effect on memberships wont be known until next year).

I wonder what Bombers answer to that question was???

Trades are still being worked out for Playfair to go to Adelaide and SJ to go to Collingwood. Essendon have pulled out of the SJ trade. Don't know how Collingwood could satisfy us - they won't give up a first round pick and their 2nd round pick is too late imo.

Thats right lets hold everything anyone ever says against them for the rest of their lives. What were you saying after Round 2 Dasher? Were you sceptical the season would fall into a hole? Was Rennis? Hindsight is a wonderful thing. That is why the process has been called a review.

Have faith in the plan that the club has devised. If they stuff up next year and can't make the finals come late August then yeah turn the place upside down. Did Sydney and Fremantle have reviews during the year?? If so, both made the finals...Fremantle the Prelim and Sydney the GF....Freo were written off after the Sydney loss.

The lady who asked that question about the review being too late i think was a little too nervous, i remember Brian saying something about 'why have it so early' ...why not have it mid season?

Am i missing something here, did Freo and Sydney not have reviews, did they not have terrible first halves to the season....did they not turn it around??

Oh well, its all in the past now, i guess we will just have to hope they made some good decisions, bring some new people in and make us forget about season 2006.

I think with the comment bomber made re: pre-season been the best or whatever that this would have been refering to players getting through the pre-season. In the past we have had a casulty list up the wazoo before the real stuff even begins. Alot of the players were on modified pre-season programs after coming back from surgerys and what not and the emphasis would have been to get them through without busting their balls....in hindsight probably wrong but it seems with our experience you are damned if you do and damned if you dont. I dont know if this is what occured but this is the impression that I got from observation.

Spot on- As long as they are in contention, let playing footy be the only focus of the club. Alot of footballers seem to be of the simple type so less distractions are the way to go. Then and only then should the club be put through the ringer to figure out what went wrong.

Bomber said after Round 3 he could tell we weren't fit enough. So why state it's our best pre-season when it clearly wasn't.

Actually I'm pretty sure Freo and Sydney did have some form of a review mid-season, and look what happened to their seasons.

Yeah, lets waste another year. If we wait til August next year if we have a **** year, this club will be right royally stuffed.
