i woudlnt rule that out but only if we got something else in return. like lets

fevola picks 1 and 4 for tarrant and pick 2, 5!

teh only reason i would get rid of tarrant was to get an awesome midfielder.

Why would Carlton do that trade?

Tarrant doesn't even kick goals...

If hes heart is not in it, and he does not want to play for collingwood then don't force him to, get what you can for him while you can.
That's an urban legend. Go to the games and actually watch, he chases and gives his all. Now and again he might miss a 2nd effort or fail to chase, but if everyone did one percenters perfectly all the time ever player would be a superstar.

Taz is an excitment machine when running around half foward and wing.
He presents over and over again. Marks strongly. Is quick to get the ball going. Chases opposition and accountable for his man.

Move Buckley to FF and Taz to HFF

amen jabso...been trying to say that for so long. Does anyone listen? is anyone out there?

Keep him. He is worth more at our club than what we would get for him right now.

Didn't he win the goal kicking again this year for the 6th year. Even at his most troublesome year with no-one feeding him, he still wins it. mmm.

I could tell you right now that Taz is still worth alot even with 2005. Geelong just sit waiting, they love him & so do a few more clubs. One year out of past seasons and more to come does not wipe out all his exceptional talent & skills. Even when every-one was canning him the Wayne Careys and Archers etc still supported him..they know. Collingwood won't even go there with Tarrant.

FFS This should not be an issue at all.

Taz is black and white to the bone.

Bad year?

All I need to say is Cats, Telstra Cow-paddock, fourth quater. There is still a slight dint in the roof where he bumped his head AND he kicked the goal ta-boot AND the Pies were awe inspiring that night.

If Taz is traded I can not rule out violence at the AGM.

Forget the draft lets get the most out of an underutilised, missuded and abused list of very talented footballers. Madhouse needs to stop making them do what they just can't and focus on what they can and will do.

Why keep a player that is lazy, unmotivated,unwilling to work hard for his club and is robbing prob about 500 k a year? He can be a fantastic player, but he has no heart. Saying that i dont mind if we do keep him because we are up poo creek but i would love to trade him off for someone willing to work. I think we will keep him and i think he will play well with pressure taken off with rocca, fraser, buckley and the cloke boys in the forward line, but with a forward line looking like that, he needs to earn his cash.

Rex, that you?

FF that get no service are always to blame, always have no heart. You can count on one hand the number of times this year Taz had the ball delivered on his chest 40 out on the run.

Rusling_Taz_Neon
Travis_Pebbles_Dids

looks OK to me :D

I never actually said that I thought that personally, I think that he is a gun player but at the end of the day if some one does not want to play for the club then let them go. Sorry if i gave the impression that I thought Taz doesn't want to play for the club, Id be shattered if he left.

I reckon Tarrant is a great player and should be kept, but I won't be shattered if we trade him. The reason for this is how poorly he played in the finals series of 02 and 03, he was a passenger both years despite good form in the home and away season. I can't imagine Tazza stepping up and delivering a 5-7 goal game when the stakes are at their highest.

Am I alone in thinking this?

'02 his final series wasnt good...game close to having a good one in the '02 GF but unsuitable conditions and couple of missed shots and suddenly he is the most maligned player in the AFL. He performed in the '03 finals...was one of our better players. He's only 24, he'll be a star again uninjured, just like he was in '03 where remember he took over 200 marks for the season, with Pebs in the square waiting for the long bomb.

He's unfaily maligned, too easy a target...he has to rely on the midfield for delivery and when he roams up to the wing and actually gets the footy, he looks his best but has no-one to kick it to! Tarrant is a scapegoat atm and the sooner that people get over it and realize that he isnt the problem (more like our slow, unskilled midfield) then the happier we'll all be. He'll be back, and in black and white.

I don't think people take you seriously anymore.
You wanted to keep Ben Kinnear.

It appears that you have not taken on board or have not kept up to date with the current information regarding Tarrant's season. Mick Malthouse was on white fever last night once again explaining to the audience and supporters what was actually happening from their end. You are still stuck on canning a Collingwood player's season that has well and truely been explained. What is more embarrasing is that you are one of our supporters & talk so low of our club. Very distasteful.

To me it was commen knowledge that Tazz played most of the year
wif a cist in his knee. From my point of view wif that and no Rocca for how long Tazz played good not as good as years gone by but ya have to take the hole team into consideration alot of people are comparing him to his 02 03 seasons the hole team was playing better football in those years which makes it easier for the forwards to kick more goals. And one more thing i have always said to me mates Tazz is wasted playing to close to goals does anybody else have the same thery ????

wif??? Oh you mean wife.
How did his wife get on his knee (I didn't know he was married) and what has Rocca's wife been doing with Taz?

Why do ya and me mates play in the allway. You might scratch the walls, so be careful.

Hang on I think I've got it
well = Well
post = posts
were = where
murray = Murray
now can see = now you can see
y = why
yaself = yourself
ya = you
Is that what you meant?
Only 8 mistakes in 23 words, I think you are getting better.

BTW - Is your Dad Howie (the puppy dog)?

It's not as though there is a need for it.
He has a PC and full keyboard.
He is not being charged per character.
A person can take all the time they need to type a reply.

And it makes it difficult (in most circumstances) to decipher what the hell they are saying.

I fully accept people make typo's and spelling mistakes but using SMS speak on a fan site is just stupid.
