English is easily better than Darcy. Didn't think of Marshall at all, but do rate him highly and would have him neck and neck with English.
In your dreams...

Darcy is a mile in front of English as a tap ruckman, it's not even close.

Your judgement of tall players is poor. Read your old posts on Harry Mckay. "Serviceable" is a patronising term like good average footballer. He looks better than I remember Fraser.English is incredible with massive upside.

If you compare same age to same age English is clearly behind. Particularly when you note that Fraser was drafted as an underager and English and overager. Yet Fraser was best 22 from season one and it's taken English till his third year to look at all capable at AFL level.

By this age and stage Fraser is already in his prime. Even in Fraser's third year, a time when relative to English's third year he is 1 1/2 years younger he had a 37 goal season. I'm not seeing English doing that at any point having only kicked the one goal from 15 senior games. Fraser from years 2-6 managed over 20 contested marks per season. English even on a per 22 game basis isn't averaging those numbers in his second or third year as an older player at that same stage.

There isn't anything other than a slight height advantage that places English at this age/stage ahead of Fraser.

What can put English ahead of Fraser is a career that isn't as injury affects and without as premature of a decline - both of which I'm anticipating so hopefully for the Dogs they get longer service out of him than Collingwood got out of Fraser.

On Harry McKay. As a junior he was a speculative choice. Athletic, tall and late birthday suggested possible scope to develop but his numbers were uninspiring as a key forward who only managed 19 goals from 13 games and never had more than 7 marks. Never achieved 15 disposals. So it was unclear whether he would come good or not. First two or three VFL seasons uninspiring but as with a lot of the good key forwards year four (2018) was his breakout season and he earned 7th place during the preseason in my 2015 draft re-done piece. I'm not sure why you would have your knickers in a knot about that. That's just assessing how he is going and rating him appropriately based on performance every step of the way.

NABLeague stats had T Green getting 23 touches v Murry. Champion Data (via Footy Live) had him get 37.... how do you miss 14 touches from 1 player!!!

Footy Live?
Yep

What is footy live? Is there a link you could provide? First I've heard of it.

*I get my Champion Data stats emailed to me each week so getting immediate Champion Data stats would be incredible to get access to.

Just got the app. Can't find anything on NAB League. Looks to be exclusively AFL only in searching every function I could on the app.

Where can NAB League be selected from within the app?

Just has news up the top with three lines.

Then Headlines, Team News, Team Tweets and Tweets.

There is also a search function that seems to do nothing.

In the three lines menu it's favourites, podcasts, head to head, settings, live blog, tipping and bet now.

I don't see anything on NAB League.

It seems from going through all the options like exclusively an AFL app.

NAB League isn’t live. They update all the stats later tonight.

In the app - click on 'Match Day' then the computer logo top LHS, then select NAB League from the dropdown menu at the top in the middle.
Hope that works

There isn't even a 'Match Day' heading anywhere on the app.

There is stats in the bottom right but that's exclusively AFL stats.

It doesn't feel like I'm on the right app from anything anyone is describing.

It's the only 'Footy Live' app I could find.

I don't seem to have all of those options.

No Match Day down the bottom and no drop down menu with only 'news' up the top where yours says NAB League.

Where that computer Icon thing is I have these three lines as a drop down menu.

No round headings up the top.

I'm using an Android so maybe the Android version of the app doesn't have all the same features?

At this stage in their developments I have Darcy comfortably ahead.

English is the better on the outside, the more mobile and more skilled.

Darcy on the other hand dominant around the ball. He's a seriously good tap ruckman and his followup work is exceptional. He's a physical presence and is for mine already a better ruckman than Lobb who should be used instead as a relieving ruckman with his tapwork and followup work not as good as Darcy's.

The only query I have with Darcy is his rate of improvement which is only now starting to make me question his ceiling. He needs to continue improving and he isn't clearly better than he was in his unmatched first season performance for a ruckman.

With English. Where do you feel in his prime he can rank of the competition's ruckmen? I have him becoming something like a 5th/6th best ruckman in the game in his prime. Darcy I feel can be a second or third (though will need to keep improving to get there) and Marshall an outright third which on early 2019 form he looks like he already is.

I think Darcy will be a good ruckman, to the level of say a Nankervis or Lycett which is still an outcome that any club would be reasonably pleased with. Watching him in the WAFL and in the AFL I have little trouble believing he can make the grade, but I really don't see this amazing talent that you seem to have heavily invested an opinion of him becoming.

English on the other hand, is handling being the number one ruckman with aplomb. Grundy obviously handed his arse to him a few weeks back, but is very visibly filling out into a big frame and on top of his ruckwork his link up play is already outstanding. Cox is the oft used comparison and I do feel it is a valid one. I can easily see him becoming the best ruckman in the game for a long stretch of time.

As mentioned I am very impressed with what Marshall is showing this year too. I don't think he quite has the naturalness that English has in his game which is understandable but will be a bloody tough proposition for opposition rucks well into the future.

Hey KM, watched Ranges live a couple times now and been impressed with Lachlan Stapleton. Seems to be a decent prospect, lots of good attributes about his game. Any personal thoughts on him and where he might get drafted, if at all?

I see Stapleton as worth tracking and potentially draftable. He's having an impact for Eastern.

Can win it, tackle, has some toughness. Good user - lowers his eyes. Reasonably quick. There's something to work with.

Hi Knightmare What are your thoughts on Taj Schofield as a talent and what are your thoughts early on for Port's list needs in this years draft.

Another year away. Finding the footy and can provide run on the outside, skills seem good. Looks very draftable for next year.

As for Port's list needs. Top of mind. A quality long term KPF prospect. Another good general forward or two. More youth for the midfield - inside and outside.

Thanks for that. Definately need a KPF to go with marshall long term. I would love an outside classy Mid and a forward type like Bruest

Thoughts Bigoa Nyoun Knightmare ?

Good athlete. Competitive through the ruck and up forward. Showing glimpses with some good moments here/there without dominating. One to continue tracking the development of.

What are your thoughts re the carlton Adelaide trade?
Is pick 1 or 2 this year worth pick 10ish this year and 19 (stocker) last year?

What would you prefer?
