now before i get hounded for making a poll that already exists, let me just explain that i believe a lot of people's opinions would have changed on these 2 players at the halfway mark of the season. many people wrote off kreuzer before he played a single game only because he reminded them of fraser. i'd like to find out your honest opinions on who the better player from the 2 is. i've got no doubt the 2 will both be superstars of the comp and along with natanui will have some super duels over the next 15 years, but who do you honestly think will be better?

Both players will have ups and downs in their junior years. This poll has been conveniently posted just after Kreuzer had a good game and Leuenberger has been rested.

AFL Rising Star nominee: Kreuzer's star is rising

I'd still go Leuenberger. Kreuzer's a talent, though, no doubt.

I suppose we're gonna revisit this argument each time one of them plays a good game...

Looking forward to seeing which of these two has the biggest impact for their side tonight, which may also see this comparison put to rest.

Lets hope they get to play a bit against one another - although I see Carlton using Kreuzer a fair bit down forward a bit in an attempt to stretch our backline.

First time I saw Leu play, I mistook him for a ruck-rover, he's that agile. He looks like a better ruckman than Kreuzer and is bigger bodied.

Leuenberger for mine.

kreuze is 5 times the player at the moment but still early days

Leuenberger for me the guys an absolute machine and a once in a generation player + easily the best ruckman of the two. Kreuzer will be a very good player though:thumbsu:

How so? Rucking against a rookie and someone who he's supposedly better then he managed to dominate with 6 possessions, 1 mark and a lousy 3 hitouts to advantage. Add that to his less then double figure possession count average last year. The signs are not promising.

It's going to take some quick developing for him to turn into this "once in a generation player."

Dont know what you were watching last night mate, but clearly a different gae than me. Kreuzer beat him in every aspect, yet is a year younger. Luey looks a player (hardly once in a gen player), but Kreuzer looks to have him covered.
