There’s definitely a curse on our club, I’d like the club to reach out to the elders of the Yorta Yorta tribe to see what can be done to reverse the curse they put on the club and for good reason at the time.
This is something the Carlton respects program should look at, the club (well that flipping knob Elliott anyway) disrespected them so let’s try and work with them.

It’s uncanny for all the bad luck we’ve received this century, there may or may not be something in it but I’m up for trying anything right now

Your own OP suggests that the curse was placed on John Elliott himself. You alluded to not wanting to wish him to shuffle off this mortal coil in order to lift the curse.

If it had anything to do with Carlton, we lifted that curse in 2002 when we tossed him. The ladies themselves took credit for his demise in the business world.

Whether it is still in place and whether it has anything to do with Carlton is not my place to say.
