Harwood BOG for the Lions for me. Was everywhere.

Retzy also tried very hard.

Thought Hawksley was OK but the opposition weren't much chop. Beams and Buchanan were very good.

The 8 goal to 0 second Q was great to watch.

Mitch Golby was in everything early on, but did cough it up a bit by foot. Not here, obviously.

Richie Newell is a most accomplished footballer in all facets going by exposed form.

Matt Austin and his just-dislocated finger - which he put back in by himself.

Patty K. Three q's forward, 1 q back. Doing OK. Quick thinker.

Drummo and Brad Harvey compete with some Southport mug.

Niall McKeever. Massive yips in front of the sticks, but geez he's playing well.

SOKS launches himself into his work - as is his wont these days.

Josh Dyson was quietish yesterday (I thought), but did his bit when asked.

Conrad Hudghton takes a beauty.

Bryce Retzlaff takes one of his many grabs.

I'm a bit of a fan, John. He has all of Max's courage and he has shown he has a good pair of hands (he did fumble one or two relatively easy ones yesterday, though).

Won't say he's an AFL prospect just yet, but could well become a pretty handy QAFL performer.

Are the ressies going to play any games at the GABBA?

I'm trying to plan a trip to Brisbane and would want to see both the reserves and seniors and this would be convenient.

Also, it would be interesting for the Reserves to face the gold coasts reserves as a curtain raiser for the QClash.

No, not anymore. They play most home games at Giffin Park, Coorparoo which is about 2 mins drive from the Gabba.
