We can keep him on the rookie list for a maximum of 3 years. After that, we have to delist him or promote him. Once delisted, we are free to re-draft. Re-drafting him in the RD should (I think) reset the 3 year clock.Can we re draft Hunter to the Rookie list, thought it was 3 years max?
Agree with Cheney to rookie list. I think we like the idea of using the rookie list to hold a couple of depth players and give more mature aged prospects a go, rather than taking a punt on long shot 17/18 year olds. I think we’ll aim to run with a 38/6 list, but if a talent slips late, like Davis did 2 years ago, we’ll run with a 39/5, rather than wait to the rookie draft and risk losing them elsewhere.
I expect we’ve recognised a more mature aged ruckman, but want to pick him as a rookie, hence no other activity in trade week. Chol maybe the one.
