Hamill a touch different knowing we had Isaac Cumming joining us and the old hand Milera coming back from injury.

He does but he has still played 41 games in 2 and a half years. If we were able to get him for one first rounder this year, he'd be an amazing get.

I know a guy that coached him in juniors. He didn’t think he would be an elite player. Not tough enough.

He does but he has still played 41 games in 2 and a half years. If we were able to get him for one first rounder this year, he'd be an amazing get.

If we think he can become an elite midfielder than go for him however I wouldnt be selling the farm for a HFF who hasnt exactly set the world on fire.

If we were able to get it done with our first pick, which is currently 13, it would likely blow out to a pick in the 20s given the likelihood of academy matches and FA compensation. At that price he would be a bargain as it directly fits what I think we are missing in our midfield at the moment.

You’re right. With pick 20ish we are not getting a “proven” A grade midfielder so we may as well take a punt on a kid that was an A grade mid/forward as a junior. However, if he proves to be a dud Mutineer should hand in his resignation from the forum.

Don’t get angry. I’m just trying to impart my football knowledge to someone who is quite clearly challenged in this area.

McAndrew is pure backup and every decision the club has made since picking him up as an SSP supports that view.

I highly doubt that, we've made overtures to Jarrod Witts before he re-signed last time he was out of contract and we were strongly linked to Ned Moyle in recent times and now we are being strongly linked to Sam Draper and apparently also shown interest in Rowan Marshall if Tom DeKoning were to join the Saints.
