Ahh geez...if only I had this internet thingy back in '92, then I could have similarly jinxed Geelong and The Roys would still have held the record!

The record is 239 so were just a wee bit off...

37.17.239 will stand for a long, long time. Footy has become so even that scores over 150 are a rarity. Back in 92 we kicked over that regularly. I think we kicked over 200 3 or 4 times in 92 and over 3000pts for the year, the first time a side had ever done it.

I wonder whether that will ever be broken, the record score. If so it will take a huge effort to do so. Footy is far more competitive and no game can be put down as a certainty to win, let alone kick such huge scores.
