Losing players during a game

The coaches will run players into the ground in the first half and then fein an injury... to replace them with a fresh player.
Maybe one way to counter act this would be if you sub a player off with injury he cannot play the next week. Could see this causing some issues but would remove some of the usage of it by the coaches as a tactical weapon - or will we just see more fringe players have injuries in the last quarter...

They insist on only playing one ruck.
How many play multiple rucks???? You and Freo are exceptions. Guess who we lost close games to conveniently when Ryder went down...

That's shit luck as much as anything. If Ryder and co didn't go down, we wouldn't have found ourselves in the tight situation.

How many have a ruckman that regularly finishes games on the bench in a tracksuit?
Regularly? Ironic given you have NicNat...

That's a stretch. How many play a Ruckman who averages under 2 marks a game? Probably explains why you play 2...

Yesterday we saw Port lose to WC purely because they lost multiple players during the game, Sydney today are currently 2 players down at HT, this is happening every single week, what can we do about it? Do we need to drastically reduce interchanges or do we need to bring a sub back?

Purely? So everthing else was irrelevant? I mean it was probably a factor, but many other things happened.

I'm not the one sooking about injuries and the need to substitutes. Your coach chooses to play injury prone players with little rest and you complain when they don't stand up.

Both NicNat and Paddy are out for the season though, but that's only two games for you guys.

We didn't even start with our FF and AA quality ruckman. ;)

There's no easy solution to losing players. If you have a sub it just becomes a tactical change late in the game, players don't like being the sub and clubs didn't like using them because they'd rather get players full games at the lower level.

Sydney still got it done today. Sometimes you just have to deal with these things.

Not starting with a player vs losing a player during the game is hardly the same thing.
