Have you been smoking crack, seriously?
The funny thing is, even your fellow Hathorn supporters on your board are embarrassed by you.
Did Bartel go missing when he kicked that goal from 60m to put us back in front?
I have NEVER seen Bartel play a game as bad as Hodge did on Friday night. He has NEVER made so many crucial errors, in a clutch game none-the-less.
Bartel is much better than Hodge. The only way Hodge has it over Bartel is that Hodge is more attacking this year.
It warms my heart to see the reaction of people like you when we beat you.
There is no doubt that Hodgey didn't have a great last quarter against the cats on friday night, I thought that the rest of the game he was solid for us, playing down back.
On Bartel, i think you are seriously forgetting his previous few years barring last year. This is a guy that was in position for a long time that say him not being able to get a game with the club. His best has always been very very good, but he lacked a consistancy to truly be rated anywhere near the best on the comp. It has been his consistancy last year and this year that have made him the player he is now, but to say he has never played a terrible game is both inaccurate and stupid.
There is now doubting the talent he has, his toughness in contests and his good strong hands for a player his size, but really, prior to 2007, he was very inconsistant.
Hodge on the other hand has been, in a way, unfarily treated for much of his career not being able to settle into postions as he has been our Mr Fixit for much of the time he has been at the club.
In closing, to hard to split the two, i think Hodge offers more versatility, whilst Bartel is a gun.
