Just a heads up for those playing on PS3, there's a glitch where if you play for too long (3+ hours I assume) it corrupts your game save. Apparently you just gotta restart your PS3 every 2 hours or so! It's caused by too many level transitions or something along those lines

Hasn't happened to me and I've had some epic sessions. Well I hope it hasn't happened to me, as I'm running off like one save haha.

Patch is incoming to fix this ASAP.

I probably made the right choice to hold off for a little bit on getting this.

Really unsure if its worth playing through ME1 again to get a Renegade character up to speed. Could just do the bare bones and not worry about the side quests, but its a lot of extra time. Probably worth it though, would like to see how the story plays out as a douchebag.

Samarra's mission is the one where you go and hunt her daughter on Omega right? Where you have to be seduced by her and then she comes and rescues you?

On another note the abandoned reaper ship was painful. Swarmed by melee = not my idea of fun/

Love the game.

As far a graphics go this feels pretty dated. Medal of Honor runs the same engine and the single player campaign looks so much better. Looking forward to completing this and Mass Effect 3.

Pretty sure the cutscenes are running on the ME3 engine and the gameplay on ME2... but you don't really play games like this for the graphics, all about the story. Agree about the love... amazing game, every mission has something different to it.

I got it on release day and it's so tempting to just insert the disc and play. Played around 3 hours then found out about the bug so I stopped. Just found out you could back up the save on a USB and just restore it when it corrupts. Not 100% sure it works though

I've just been playing and haven't encountered any problems so far. Will be seriously mad if I have to restart my whole game though.

Just restart every 2 hours or so and you'll be fine... I hope One of the Bioware techs said that was the temporary fix so I'd assume it works

Ahh wow that's cool. My character is pretty much neutral.. usually I choose paragon options but sometimes if a fun renegade option comes up I choose that. Don't know how it'll affect my end gameplay for this run through but it's fun for the moment.

Later on you need to be either Full paragon or Full renegade to defuse situations. Those situations have BIG consequences at the end.

Ah I'm 3/4 through paragon so should be full paragon by endgame I'd hope.

Definitely pays to go one way or the other if you want to have the ability to resolve everything.

If you start hitting paragon hard you might be right

If you max one of the stats at level 4 (cant remember the one), you can choose to recieve +40% Paragon/Renegade. If your lacking at the end of the game, you can always go down this route to help max out the bars.

I did legion's mission then him and tali had their fight and I had enough paragon to resolve that without losing loyalty so we'll see. Just jumped through the relay, I'm interested to see how the fight with the ship would play out if you didn't upgrade your ship fully before you jumped.. would be an abrupt end to the game if it blew you up lulz

I made the right choices about who to send on the solo mission/lead fire team 2 to keep everyone alive without reading any spoilers... then I read something and it told me who I need to choose for next 2 and it ruined my perfect choices by cheating

My major events were:

I blew the space station up, didn't hand it over to the illusive man. Everyone survived (didn't have Kasumi, don't have the DLC). Everyone is loyal however Jack still says **** off, I don't know if I defused the situation between her and Miranda correctly. I romanced Miranda.

I enjoyed all the DLC. The lair of the shadow broker is the best. You get to hook up with Liara again if you stay faithful.
