I was thinking the same thing! Surprised it hasn't been brought up. You could tell Sydney wanted it badly. The ball was in about half a metre from the boundary. Even if Johnson went at the ball, momentum would've carried it over. Instead... Just let a swan pass you and tap it back in to keep the game moving. Go the ball son, go the ball!

I was listening to the game up until half time, and until the last 2 seconds of that Quarter Davis was quiet. He's a good player, the Cats can't just let him play his natural game just because he hadn't done anything all day. You KNOW players like him are going to come out of their shell, and when he starts getting the ball early, you MUST shut him down...

Me to, as did 95% of all AFL supporters, even though Sydney was the favourite. Granted I was one of many who was sure they would win, it's obviously not what I wanted, and to go down like that is just awful, should never have happened. I hope St Kilda thrash the Swans next week by 1000 goals.

That's bullsheizen. Bad luck Cats. It's no comfort, but I'd prefer to lose like that than getting belted like us. Take some pride from the heart that you showed, rather than the result.

I'd rather get belted, at least that way you know the game is over at half time, not 2 seconds before the end, especially in a final.
