Politics Meghan Markle and Prince Harry - Racially Villified or Royally Unpopular?

Lose control of what?
The deference and respect that the late HM had was earned over a long time and the new mob mistook that as respect for the institution which they'd enjoy as well. Piling on a bunch of over privileged, out of touch born to rules feels a lot easier than hitting on a little old lady who served in the Second World War too. The rules have changed.

Granted, Charles can’t help being sick - he’s our head of state though. We don’t know what he has.
This either highlights the insignificance of his role OR the role is so important, transparency is required and clear communication

Catherine story - lost control of that too. This wasn’t women’s day creating this story. The photo thing was strange.

He has cancer and a result he's suspended public engagements to undergo treatment.

The King is still working fulfilling his state duties as monarch, such as reviewing government papers and meeting with the prime minister weekly. He's just not doing public appearances for the moment. Public appearances in his place are being undertaken by the other working royals.
Catherine story - lost control of that too.

The only 'story' being made up is by tin foil hat conspiracy theorists and social media users with too much time on their hands and / or fancy themselves as some sort of super sleuths.

On January 17th Kensington Palace announced that Catherine had undergone a "planned abdominal surgery" on January 16th. The statement said she was "unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter" and expressed "her wish that her personal medical information remains private." She was discharged from hospital in London on January 29 after a 13-day convalescence

Easter is still a fortnight away.

Storm in a teacup. It was a poorly photoshopped family picture. Somehow that's been extrapolated to mean Catherine's either in a critical condition as a result of her operation, in the midst of a divorce, or recovering from some sort of plastic surgery operation or whatever else has been invented /speculated by the 'super sleuths' on the internet. She'll be back after Easter on public duties and the whole 'furore' will die down.

In the good old days they were so transparent the females had to endure half the court witnessing her giving birth

Yep US democracy is about to elect its next president from 2 guys in worse shape than charles

US media should focus on the next president. Don't know why they care about the royals.

Media is annoyed that they can't gain inside information about Catherine's surgery or make money from the latest family photo posted on instagram

Speaking to Health Clinicians, we know, things dont add up.

We empathise with Kate.

I just hope she is ok, getting good care, independent .

Just reading that Prince William isn’t particularly religious, and may not take on position of head of church of england

More unfounded speculation.

The Act of Settlement 1701 stipulates that the monarch must be 'in communion with' the Church of England that is, a full, confirmed member. Prince William is a full confirmed member of the Church of England. The Act of Supremacy 1558 also established the monarch as the Supreme Governor of the Church of England. In his or her coronation oath, the Sovereign promises to maintain the Church.

Both of these Acts would need to be repealed by the British government for the monarch to 'cut ties' with the Church of England.

It won't happen.

That could have been the last ever coronation, hardly seems any point really

I doubt that too. The coronation ceremony has existed in various forms since at least AD 973, long before the Church of England was established.

William will be king regardless of a coronation. Edward was king until he abdicated. No doubt there will be pressure. How stubborn is will, and is it something he’d push? Probably not

C of E don’t really care if their officials are believers

He’s getting pegged on the taxpayers coin. Anything that brings down these scumbags is good in my eyes.

He is a weak, entitled spoilt brat, imo.

Rumour mill, is fixed on a few rumours.

You know you are screwed when Piers comes for you Willy, come on down.

I can't see any reason why there wouldn't be a coronation.
