Last year was disgusting. EVERY single comment was negative, even when we were 4 or more goals up in games. I remember one game when I had soem Eagles mates over watching. At the start of the game I said watch for Jacko's BS. They were like, 'yeah, yeah, whatever'. By half time they were laughing at just how obvious he hates Freo.

My favourite slappo moment of 2007 was the Derby win. He'd been bleating all day about how the weavils would come back and win. When asked at the start of the last quarter who would win, he of course replied 'west coast', in the space of a minute, Solly proceeded to knock down a few weagles before assisting Josh Carr with a goal, and Slappo suddenly changes his mind.

Haha, I actually remember that. What a freaking fool.

Next time you have the pleasure of hearing Jakovich commentate just listen out for his insightful calling of the plays. He has an annoying and constant habit of just looking slightly ahead of the camera and shouting the name of the player that the ball is heading to. It wouldnt be so bad, except once you notice it is all that you can hear.

My top 3 favourite Jakovich calls of last year include:

1) "Embley!!"
2) "Birdman!"
3) "Farmer!"

Each more insightful than the last.

Too be fair I have to admit that in his own way Slappo does actually stick up for us if we are playing anyone other than WC. Perhaps this is his sense of state perochialism.
However when it comes to Derby he cannot hide his disdain for us. Considering he ran around slapping our team is it any wonder.
