I think Voss is a bit stiff, but 5 years is 5 years. There just didn't seem to be a plan or a group of young players players he could hang his hat on... He must have felt indebted to the likes of Power (early on), Browny,Mcgrath and Black.

Overall He has to live by the sword here... Rolled the dice and gambled on Fev/Maguire/X Clarke/Buchannon etc didn't pay off.

Now time to clean out and get fresh ideas in there.

Surely a new coach can build around the likes of Hanley/Rockliff/Rich/Redden/Leuenberger....?

They need probably two more Elite mids and a Gun key forarwd. Not all is lost.

Voss had his chance, simple as that.

Well this was massively unexpected.

Shocked and disappointed, they are still a chance to make 9th and get into the finals. They have a depth of up-and-coming quality players who have started to build up game time, last year they were still too inexperienced IMO.

I suspect the early sacking was because they wanted to beat other clubs in signing Roos or maybe someone else.
