Well there's a few reasons he could want to play for Adelaide, like the promise of lots of money, finally being the best player in the team, and shorter seasons which mean more holiday time.

Top 4 will be the goal again. Hopefully top 2. But at this stage of the year, there are lots of teams that can make an argument for top 4, last year's 4 plus Dogs, Cats, Pies, Tigers and Roos (pretty much the animals) and Port will think they have a chance.
