The first details have been announced. There isn't much to go on though.

*Vehicles will be in MW2
*M16 will return, using stopping power will only be OHK at head, neck, and torso (abdomen, limbs, and hands/feet will not)
*Ak47 and M4 will return, unknown if there are any changes
*M40 will return, ACOG damage boost will be fixed
*Scorpion, P90, M21, R700, G3, G360 will not return
*There are more unknown weapons that will not return
*New sniper rifle: SR25M (United states forces)
*New Assault rifle: Diemeco C8 (Canadian forces M4 equivelant)
*New Assault rifle: L85A2 (United Kingdom forces)
*Total weapons in multiplayer are said to be around 35
*Favourite Modern warfare 1 maps will return
*Helicopters, air strikes, UAV will return
*Red dot sightings will come in different shapes for multiplayer (circular, square, original)
*Snipers will have special grass camouflage (As seen in Modern warfare 1’s campaign)
*All perks will return from MW except eavesdrop and others will be altered
*All gametypes will return from MW and all will have hardcore versions
*New gametype: Secure (Call of duty version of capture the flag, however you capture the enemy’s Intel)
*New gametype unconfirmed name, similar to search and destroy, however instead of trying to plant a bomb, you try to kill a specified enemy
*Solider customization for each class (and each country)
*Sniper with silencers will NOT be in multiplayer
*There are NO bots in local multiplayer
*Similar version to Nazi Zombies, however details are unknown
*NO guest players online, 1 player per console
*Killcam save feature
*There is blood and gore
*Offline/Online Co-op
*Story takes place in the Middle East
*Role as US marines return
*Ken Lally voice work in campaign
*Release is set for sometime in November
*New army tags will be available to add different elements in campaign (similar to halo skulls)
*Campaign-only weapons

Interested, but not upset to see the p90 get the flick.

Once that was unlocked there was no need to use any other weapon. Not only dull, but gave leveled up people waaay too much of an advantage imo.

great find biggy, thanks for that!

some excellent additions in there and i'm glad to hear alot of modern warfares best maps will be added to this ones multiplayer
however i do hope they add about 8 or so new maps to the fray

the news of the removal of the p90

i mean i could still use the mp5 or whatever similar new addition they include in the smg category for it but that gun and me.....

Nothing is confirmed Camo, it's all basically rumour at this stage.

I was a big fan of the P90 as well.

P90 + martyrdom +shipment =

I hope that list is fake. It seems too much like MW1.

scooter some games on kz2 get as frantic as a shipment level

god i'm loving this

and yeh p90 is the ultimate run and gun, gun in cod4

i hope it does make the next version

I'd still like the P90 to be in the game, maybe to make it harder to get have it as an achievement for reaching a certain number of prestige's, that way only the better(or players who play it the most) will have the weapon, and the n00bs will find themselves with something else to exploit until they get that prestige(Which they will have most likely given up with by then).

My take on it, if you want a thriving community, you shouldn't make it even harder on the n00bs than it already is.

Bad enough starting out in a game playing against seasoned players, let alone trying to kill those seasoned players who are in addition toting weapons far better than yours.

You want those n00bs to keep playing rather than tossing the game aside because it's too hard.

That's already the case with COD games of course, but making you prestige for it is even worse.

even though i know that the p90 is the perfect gun for my style with an awesome clip size, power and fire rate....

the true n00bs wouldn't be able to do anything if a player like myself for example used an mp5 either which is a weapon which is available at the very beginning. (it's actually my second fav gun in cod4 and i love when i run out of ammo and happen to pick one up coz then the streak will go even longer before i call my chopper in MWUAUAHAHAH)

Was talking more about Killzone 2 actually. But because HBK says he's the bigger fan, I guess it must be true. We all know HBK is always right.

kerrby when you have more than 80,000 kills from 16 and a half days online gameplay on cod4 then come back to me

my account actually says 18 days but easily over a day and a half of that is from a n00b friend (who isn't a n00b now) who played on my account to learn how to play. trying to play the same style i do and getting owned with game stats of 2-17 in the process! haha

that's another reason i made a second account.....so when a new game comes out and he comes over (or anyone for that matter) he can't seriously stuff up my stats like he did with cod4

when you add a day and a half worth of let's just say 7-8 minute rounds of 2 kills 17 deaths that is a MASSIVE dent into my stats

You already have 24 hours of online play for KZ2 and it hasn't even been out for a week yet.
