Who do you think will be the most improved player and why?

For me, I think it will be De Goey. He was pretty poor last year but has all the tools to be a top line player. The penny has now dropped that he will be left behind quickly, and now has to fight for a spot in the midfield so the motivation is strong.

Scharenberg will be very special this year.

De Goey will be on another level- a beast at the ball.

Have a feeling Mason will go up a level or two as well. He's ready to come into his own.

Scharenberg will be an improver, but maybe his struggles to get onto the park disqualify him from the 'most improved' title. I've got good vibes about WHE, but maybe he's disqualified by an absence of Collingwood form.

That leaves Aish. He looked off the pace at times last season, but at other times got into the rhythm of things. I have a feeling he'll find his niche this year.

Maynard & Adams, two young bulls who are primed to crunch the opposition.

Why? I like 'em! :D

Apart from that Adams only needs consistent games. The knock on his kicking I think is a bit harsh.

Maynard, same reasons & the knock is kicking plus decision making, both improved as the year went on & I expect it to continue as he comes to terms with the pace of the game.

Bulls.

Will Hoskin-Elliott

Will finally show his potential in the colors he was meant to play in all along.

From all reports I can hear (the voices in my head), and the inside info I have from training (that one time I went), he is absolutely tearing shit up!

2017 the pies will be the most improved team in the competition.

I think Maynard will become a terrifying proposition this year. Now that he's adjusted to the speed of the game and built a better fitness base I expect his output to go off the charts. Can't wait to see him bulldoze the opposition and boot 60 meter passes out of our back 50.

Maynard, for all the reasons outlined above. Was improving before our very eyes throughout season 2016. Will maintain his bullish progression.

Aish, because he has 'it'. Needs to grow in confidence and self belief, with the coaches backing him, and if this occurs we will see the benefits.

Adams will go to the elite level I think this season. With Treloar and Pendles taking most of the attention, he'll be free to explode.

I also hold high hopes for Fasolo next year - with a developing Moore, a fit Elliot, Mayne adding pressure, and hopefully WHE as well, I think Faz has all the tools to become a real forward weapon, 40-50 goals a year.

blair, according to some some he is terrible so he cannot get any worse.

just kidding, l am hoping that aish will have a break out year for us

I have a rapidly developing mancrush on the Rupe. He's had a taste last year, tackles like a beast (11 in his first game!), strong enough to keep his feet when tackled, is the perfect size for the modern day midfielder and has great awareness and skills. I'm looking forward to breaking out into " The Rupe, the Rupe, the Rupe is on fire" throughout next season. Up, up and away!
