MRP is a flip flopping circus

Really disappointing, the AFL have lost the plot........maybe i'm not clever enough to understand the rules of the game, I get confused what's acceptable and what's not.

Call me a quitter if you like, but Sunday's game without Fyfe doesn't exactly appeal, turgid school yard Footy and getting soaking wet ......F**K IT !!!

Right call unfortunately. Hope he learns from it and cuts these silly acts out of his game.

So how can they explain tbe Tom Mitchell one?

That's simple. Tom Mitchell was let off with the intentional downgraded to careless because he is in the running for the Brownlow.
But after that decision, the AFL noticed people claiming he only got off because of his Brownlow chances ... hence they needed to suspend Fyfe so people now know Brownlow favourtism has no effect on their decisions.

That's how it usually works isn't it? Make a bad decision for a Melbourne based player and then negate that by making an example of a Freo player.

Don’t mind it in isolation.

IF they hadn’t let every other ****** off while throwing elbows

Thats it, there is no consistency. Obvious ones get ignored, others are careless.

But Fyfe needs to smarten up, regularly he pushes his luck. This time the luck ran out.

We are just going to have to put up with the VFL sorry AFL crap for a very long time. I have never seen a more contrived competition than this Association. Why are all tribunal jury Victorians isn’t it supposed to be a national competition

Yeah, would have been better if he hadn't of left the ground.

Fyfe left the ground to try to get above what looked like a fist/arm/elbow coming at his head.
And by jumping up, there was actually less force/impact in the collision than what there would have been if Fyfe had have stuck the elbow into Greenwood's head while solidly positioned on the ground.

Too many people have been brainwashed to think that just because Fyfe jumped up and had an elbow raised it must have been intentional ... that is just the narrative that the MRP pushed but there really is no basis of fact to that. Think about it. Do professional fighters jump up in the air before they punch their opposition to generate more force? No. They have a solid heavy stance or driving movement forward (not upward) which produces more energy at impact.

Boxers Coxers. AFL is less tolerant of head high impact if the player leaves the ground. Duty of care is with the player without the ball.
