Did Lloyd and Cummings ever play any games together at Essendon?
They did, but not while they were Colemen medallists.
jeez the 1800'sat the turn of the century, long before being known as the coleman medal there were three successive years that where the VFL leading goal kickers were 4 players from 2 clubs.
1891 - Fred Hiskins (Essendon): 34 goals
1890 - Albert Thurgood (Ess), Teddy Lockwood (Geel): 24 goals each
1889 - Eddy James (Geelong): 31 goals
Eddy James' career ended in an injury sustained in the 1890 season, so they didn't quite play alongside each other as leading goal kickers, but it was in the making
Gumbleton and Hurley![]()
Would Beasley/Templeton, Templeton/Quinlan have played in the same team? Bit before my time...Heatley and Plugger?
Roach and BT definitely were. Depends whether you specify they already had their Colemans when they were together
Doug Wade and Malcolm Blight,
both played in the same team and became coleman medalists while playing for North.
Wade retired before Blight won the goalkicking.
Looks like Hudson & Matthews in 1977 the only one.

Would Beasley/Templeton, Templeton/Quinlan have played in the same team?
I know Neitz won it in 2002 and Robbo came close a few years later while they were both still playing
