OOC 27 year old who was dropped this season more than once and is currently on the outer. I personally don't think he is worth 24 but that is not to say we might not get another pick other than 36 to trade for him or some sort of swap.

But I suppose it doesn't matter what I think, and depends on where the club value him.

Broad is a decent player who will improve the GC Backline. Perhaps a trade for Peter Wright and Tiges second rounder from next year is on the money.

You take your budget and build a club with some quality, team oriented A graders and then surround them with quality, team oriented role players, hone them all with a ground breaking game plan and then start smashing out flags by finishing top 4 year after year. And that's how a salary cap works.

Perhaps your boys could give it a try.

Pick 24 is reasonable I would have thought. Crap shoot draft, and Gold Coast need another plug and play small defender in the back half. Broad is a classic more than the sum of his parts player with his courage and leadership from the back half.
