I'm pretty sure that Brisbane will change back soon. Next year may even be a possibility. There's just far too much hate towards this jumper, it's split their fans and has poor on field success attached to it.

Anyone seen any other clubs' strips for this? From what I've heard they're trying to make it that each club only needs one jumper for the comp (hence the Roosters were asked to wear their inverse)I know there is a thread for this somewhere but I couldn't be stuffed finding it.
I was just having a look on the North Adelaide website and found info about their Foxtel Cup guernsey. Almost a complete invert of their normal home and away guernsey with the Foxtel Cup logo, the SANFL logo and their major sponsor 'Mistral' on the guernsey.
They must have changed the rule on the whole sponsor thing although the logo does look tiny on the guernsey:

SYDNEY's Clash looks X10 better then last years
[/B]
One of the most sensible posts I've read on here! All Teams should wear their home Jumpers, and their home shorts (normally dark) at Home and away with white shorts
however in the case of a clash the following conditions should apply
- The away team must wear an alternate jumper to avoid the clash
- Clashes occur when the two teams playing both have
a) dark jumpers (away team wears light strip)*
b) light jumpers (away team wears dark strip and Home team wears white shorts)
c) stripes (away team wears a strip with less stripes and be mostly dark or light- the opposite of the home team)
*Red is not a dark colour, Red does not clash with blue, black or white.
*Maroon is a dark colour, it clashes with red as well as Blue and Black
The best Jumper collingwood has worn to avoid clashing with north melbourne or geelong is the one from the start of 2000's with the magpie on the front.
AGREE!!! I've said a few bits about this but haven't managed to put it into words quite so well (anywhere NEAR as well) as this. All Teams should wear their home Jumpers, and their home shorts (normally dark) at Home and away with white shorts

My only addition would be that I'd like to see coloured shorts (eg red, yellow) thrown in the mix. So when Adelaide plays Essendon (home or away), because they've both got dark-ish tops, make Adelaide wear yellow/gold shorts and Essendon red. Coupled with the "hoops" on the Crows and the sash on Essendon this should give enough differentiation. Similarly, Adelaide (red shorts) v Richmond (yellow) or Adelaide (red) v Collingwood (white...no point Adelaide wearing white shorts when Collingwood already has a fair bit of it)
But in essence, what Crozza said is fantastic!![]()
Personally I don't mind thembut light coloured shorts are normally hidiously ugly, especially yellow and red
I think on some uniforms they look better than white (eg Essendon. Plus on the "Essendon clash top" forum we're continually reminded that white isn't an Essendon colour
)Yeah it's horrible from a distance. Nearly as useless as the writing above the number - I've seen a few that say "Canberra" but I have a feeling that it's the player's home town.
Also the numbers on the back of the GWS guernsey are glossy - looks to be a quick stick-on job.
Few things from the games this week:
- What was with the blue on the Lions? Should have continued onto the front shoulders in the same pattern if it was necessary. Interesting to see the traditional Fitzroy lion where the "BBFFC" usually sits. Is this a permanent thing
With the map of Q'land on the front the blue shoulders could represent the recent floods overcoming the sunshine state haaa haa hato soon sorry

- For those who like the Saints-style GWS jumper, some mixed news. The club intended it as just a training jumper, and were surprised at the overwhelming response it received. There was talk of making their special jumper for all Canberra games similar to that, but they wont be deciding on that until next season.
Their colours are too similar to St.Kilda's to be copying their jumper in my opinion. If they want something traditional they should go for something else like hoops, a sash or a V although I don't exactly think it's good to just rip off other designs in the name of tradition.
That looks a bit too similar to Geelong IMOHere's my go at a traditional away jumper for GWS.

I've downgraded orange to a trim colour as it works well for a few American sports teams.
