It was on the Puma footy account however my mate might have got confused because there was a photoshoot with retro Puma gear. I also asked a Saints collector and he was adamant the Saints are sticking with NB.

Black isn’t part of their branding anymore, you can compare an old Maccas sign that says McDonalds on the red part to one of the new ones with no writing, no black to be found.

I reckon this is a problem of Sherrin. I wouldn't be surprised if they've shrunk their printable/safe area for sponsors on balls. Probably to avoid anything being lost in the stitching area

To me it looks like they’ve just based is it off the mini ones. If you look at the small footies from the last few years, they look identical to these full sized ones.

Obviously its a bigger difference in size than the original but its not like the original wasnt still different anyway.
