Not really the image that the showdowns invoke for me.

I wish they'd stop pushing this 'we're not really rivals and love each other really' messaging. That's not why people buy into sports rivals. Yeah, we know there are limits to the rivalry. But let us be rivals within those bloody limits can we?

This one passed Ports 'did they do enough at each club' criteria?

If we're going to have a trophy, I would have kept the same one with a new sponsor on it. I like the idea of playing for the same cup over the years. What happens to the last one? What happens to this one when we get a new sponsor? If either club ever changes logos?

Feels like this is just the current temporary one and then in a few years time it will be something else.
