The easiest way to gain revenue is from existing customers in the short term and then look to upgrade when you reach their ceiling.
It is harder to get in a huge name sponsor without massive tv exposure and finals level performance, when your club membership is lower than nearly all rivals. Give him time, I suspect he knows what he is doing.

Short term contracts which brings in quick money then once we play finals more friday night games etc = higher sponsorship price
