Way too early imo to be talking about our next Captain. Boak will probably keep the captaincy for at least another 3 to 4 years. You only have to look back to the beginning of this thread to see how much players and opinions change in eighteen months, let alone several years.

But bumping the thread did provide quite a few laughs, a few red faces now, I think.

THeres nothing wrong with bumping old threads and this one has some relevance given the articles on the AFL site. People just need to check the start date if things look odd (like 350 posts being made in 1 day, over Xmas, on this sort of topic).

As for the topic, who really knows. Its Boaks to keep for as long as he wants it. That could be till retirement which would possibly rule out Ebert, so you'd be looking towards the next batch of Trengove, Wines & Wingard.
