So is good off the ground like his father. Good prospect, exciting
you watch the father son rule change in two years just in time to deny Adelaide a F/S that could be a top 10 pick.

it was actually being discussed in the vic media a few days ago..

Will. Not. Happen.

Hoping we’ll be safe - Still a lot of Victorian teams benefitting from F/S so they won’t change it for a while at least.

Can probably look forward to some commentary in AFL media how it’s “baffling” that we’d be allowed to pick up such a talent cheaply though.

Tyler Welsh has done a lot of pretty exciting things this year but his 4 goals yesterday isn’t really among them.

One a nice but regulation snapped finish when the ball stopped in a puddle of water at his feet.

The other three straightforward set shots after possibly the three softest free kicks I have ever seen. Perhaps the most encouraging thing is that he converted them all which isn’t always his strong suit.

Exciting talent but yesterdays stats flatter him hugely.

Conditions at the ground yesterday were atrocious. 4 goals of any sort is A+ in those conditions. Remember also he was playing up an age grade against side entrenched in the top 4.

Isn't he an under 16 player playing under 18's

Tyler Welsh with 16 disposals 7 marks (6 contested) 2.3 late in the last quarter...goal kicking need some work?
He was a bit more in and out this game. Spent a bit more time on the bench than usual, not sure why.
His contested marking was also not sticking at his best (reckon he would have dropped 3 or 4 he would normally take).
And yeah, missed a couple of sitters.

Far from his best, but a serviceable game.

He has a big kick on him. Hopefully we find a way to get him still despite not being able to bid until pick 40
What a compromised competition this. How do they justify this when just 2 years ago the Bulldogs were able to use NGA on a pick 1. Have we at least tried to challenge this.
