Heard yesterday. He is currently part of our NGA but Crows denied ability to match bids. I was asked not to say his name during the process. This news might be a week old hence the increased interest in him this last week but I've only just heard.
Good luck Jake!
Crows socials has photos of him including F/S Rutten, Ricciuto and Ekburg (?) at the St Kilda game.
On exactly what grounds were Crows trying to get access? Indigenous heritage or parent/parents born overseas?

What are the grounds to be in the NGA?

They got him under a very specific set of rules that were only in place for a few months and the AFL itself delayed the above three year rule just to suit Port. One may argue this was the entire point by the AFL in order to give the minnow club a leg up...

With Cochrane the AFL didnt want any backlash or bad press given the family were so strong on him going to Port.
