Not exactly getting great reviews at the moment, IGN gave it an 8.7. Sounds like it's solid if you were a fan of the first one, but hardly a must-have.

Tthe 360 exclusive list is really slim this year as is, they would have been hoping this title could tide people over til Gears2 comes out.

The first one was ace on xbox and on PS3, but if they've gone overboard on the diff, it could seriously stuff it up

Sounds like if you want the best NinjaG experience on the next-gen consoles, the PS3 is the way to go.

Also, Penny Arcade have paid out on the pox 360 version of ME:

"Mass Effect is, quite frankly, a shadow of itself on the 360 - supposedly the title's "lead SKU." The very existence of the PC version is owed to consoles, but this is a "port" you can feel pretty ____ing smug about."

Slightly higher review scores does not = better experience, but it's pretty funny that one of the best 'PS3 exclusives' is a port of an old xbox game Rachel is a crappy addition, with a very limited moveset. NGII actually has next gen models and animation, much superior to jerky Sigma (which Itagaki would have nothing to do with, and says is crap).

Reviewers who can't handle the difficulty and having a sook does not lessen the amount of which this game owns.

Scoop! RPG plays slightly better on PC than original console version. Experts Baffled!



An RPG will always be more suited to a PC control interface. Also, the fact that its come out 6 months post the 360 release...on which it sold well over a million copies...has allowed bioware to tweak a few things that in hindsight, and with plenty of feedback, could have been done slightly better.

They took a hugely popular...almost universally praised 9/10 plus console RPG, and made it better.

Does it make the 360 version pox? Pretty dumb logic...

NG2 got 4 stars on X-Play. They said the main and fatal flaw of the game was the Epicly horrible camera adopted from the first game. They said most of your deaths will happen off camera as it is incredibly counter-intuitive. The fact that it is so difficult doesn't work as badly on 360 as 360 controllers are literally indestuctible. I got sigma on ps3 for like $40 on ebay and after a few frustrating hours of camera f***-ups, incredibly hard battles and bad checkpoint placement, i gave up and haven't touched it since. Never been into adventure sword games like NG or DMC, and prefer more stealth orientated ninja games (tenchu-z, have my babies).

It doesn't belong in the MGS4 thread. This thread is for discussion of NG2, therefore I put a comment about the reviews of NG2 in it.

Why mention the MGS4 reviews at all then? Relevance to this game is? Gameplay wise its not even remotely similar.Hands down with out a doubt Ninja Gaiden craps all over MGS4 as far as ninja dismembering gameplay goes.
