Big Bash teammates out of Perth hospital after head clash

West Australian Cam Bancroft and Sydney Thunder teammate Daniel Sams have been released from hospital.

“Bancroft has a broken nose and a broken shoulder out of the incident — which will rule him out of the rest of the Big Bash League — and both players are concussed.

Sams is likely to be ruled out for at least 12 days, which means he is unlikely to play any matches before their final clash of the regular season against Sydney Sixers.

Bancroft is also in concussion protocols, but his broken shoulder is likely to keep him out for longer. That could stretch into Western Australia’s Sheffield Shield campaign…

Another update is likely on Saturday after the results of CT scans.”

Head has credits in the bank. Agree with khawaja, would agree with Labushagne if we had two top order batsmen knocking down the door. Hopefully some good shield and county cricket this year.
