Somesquash ?
Have to be one of the worst batting line ups I’ve seen Australia put out since “Lambs to the slaughter” days. I enjoyed Konstas’s 60 but he’s done nothing since and , let’s face it, could have been out half a dozen times in Bumrah’s first two overs. Green isn’t a number three as they have to be able to handle the moving ball. Anyway see how they go in the second.
Do you think it's worth trying Hazelwood as an opener or perhaps at number 3 seeing how he seems to be capable of producing more runs than either Konstas or Green at the moment?
We eek out another 120, we'll win by 50. Nothing to see here.Feels like a repeat of the final
What's happened to your batting ?? Its fallen off a cliff
you guys used to be able to russle up someone from the Sheffield shield who'd then average 40 plus in test cricket
Greens got lots of talent, Head is pretty good. But not much else
I thought it was fantastic how Konstas and green settled in and improved on their first innings efforts. Konstas a 40% improvement and Green 500%We hide the Shield away now like some dirty secret. You'll have teams with third string bowling attacks. That's how you end up with sausages like Konstas on the test team.
Where do blokes go to find form now? Big Bash?
Then you have blokes like Green in the side batting at 3? WTF is that? Is he on some sort of promise from selectors? If Webster has the 6 spot, Green sits out. Too bad.
