Preview No Changes vs Saints

I know our last quarters have been shit we will do better if we improve that and its so early in the season. It doesnt help when we have top 6 teams from last year in the first 3 rounds.

No, the Crows are unable to play well for more than 15 minutes a game. Things will not get better if this is all they can muster in rounds 1-3.

Just watch. Will beat Melbourne, but won't beat GWS, Bulldogs and St.Kilda.

We're not losing to st kilda, infact we should win the next 4 games

St Kilda or WB won't be easy to knock over at ES, especially with how little belief the boys are showing towards whatever game plan we're trying to play by. We'll probably look more competitive for a longer duration against St Kilda since they're not the same quality of geelong, port or sydney but they are playing much better footy than us. We look genuinely confused when we have possession of the ball.

As for changes, Petrenko out, Lyons in.

Jenkins missed goals he should have kicked but was otherwise very good.

Given our game plan is simply blind long bombing we need a big bugger to take a few marks up the ground and he did that. Also good on the lead. Give him a break.

Out- thommo, pets
In - cameron, lyons

If Kerridge is out too bring in riley knight

If Grigg is out too bring in Atkins

Team needs some fresh faces and enthusiasm.

I have loved porps but will flip my lid if he comes back in.

Edit - forgot CEY he probably gets a gig before Atkins

Out - half of our supporter base..

FFS, I sat in western stand today yelling my guts out, have a sore throat now.
Do you think we could raise any voice NO! well there was one girl behind me joining in.
Got all sorts of looks
I swear so many of our supporters are loving this season,
"I told you so" "I knew we would lose" Bla Bla Bla.... Go support Carlton, don't want you!

How disheartening it must have been for those on the ground to have 48000 people giving stuff all, as soon as we dropped off in the third they all started. No yell no support. Disgraceful!

Well you know what!
I'm going to every home game and sit in the Western Stand behind you a yell and annoy you

Rant over.

Wright tried but he was shit. 5aa is not a source of anything.

I'm not saying 5aa are a source of anything but for someone to say drop him and another rate him in our best 3 players, someone is obviously wrong.

Based on what I saw, and supported by the stats, I'm closer to 5aa's observation on this one.

Out: Trigg, Chapman, Harper, Poulos, Clarke, Camporeale, Bickley
In: Thompson, Ling, Tredrea, various other smart footy operators

Players wise
Out: Petrenko (forever), Reilly, Thompson (inj), Grigg (inj), Kerridge (inj)
In: Cameron, CEY, Lyons, Otten (if ready), Kelly (one of the only players on our list that will ark up and show some fight on the field.)

Changes are almost irrelevant. Can't see us beating many sides at all this year, the way we're playing.

Like someone said earlier, if we have a shocker of a year, it might just be enough to remove some of our rotten admin.

I just hope we don't lose some of our talented players in the process.

Exactly. Basketball background makes him used to those hectic congested situations. He's clearly not a forward's arseh*le but he has incredible unique attributes...that speed combined with that height, strength and agility would be a shame to waste. He would thrive in there I reckon.
Funnily enough, his pace on the burst could be quite useful for us.

In: CEY Cameron Lyons
Out: Petrenko Thommo if injured Grigg if injured
Here's hoping that Charlie makes his debut and we finally get a good look at Ellis Yolmen

Not sure itll matter, selections wouldn't have won the last 3 games. Gonna be shot down for this but we miss VB. A guy who doesnt stop running and is hard in the clinches. Yes he had a horror year last year but he is missed

Do assuming we have three injuries I dare say the changes will be.

Out: Thompson, Kerridge, Grigg.
In: one of smack/Johnson, Porpy, Lyons.

Can't see us going in with a less experienced side. For whatever reason would rather play with done players with experience rather than young players who will improve and learn something.

If we have three injuries no way will Sando drop anyone else for that performance which is disappointing.

By the way that is not what I want. It's what I think we will do short sightedly. At this point I don't think it matters.

Our gameplan and passion need to be fixed first.

Depends whether we accept that our list isn't up to it and put some senior players out to pasture. We've always suffered from rebuild denial then in 2010, 2011 and 2013 scored a handful of consolation wins late in the season to feel good about ourselves.
