Unbelievable from Cleveland. I didn't give them a chance before the series and after watching the first two games I was expecting it to get fairly ugly. LeBron and Kyrie were unreal (LeBron's numbers for the series were phenomenal). Tristan Thompson also played a big role. I honestly can't believe it but I'm pretty stoked that they pulled it off.

How about that LeBron block!

Congrats Cleveland - incredible come-from-behind win ...

73-9 all for nothing Warriors.
Crazy when you think about it. A team that had 9 losses in 81 games has a record of 7-7 to end the year.
Maybe they pushed themselves too hard, maybe Lebron just couldn't be denied in his waning prime, all I know is the Thunder are coming and several other teams are getting their shit together and it makes for great viewing.

Haha yes!! Great to see Cleveland sports get a championship. Now watch all the GSW Bandwagoners jump off.

Kyrie is awesome to watch and that block by lbj was mental. American sport coverage is fantastic.
Imagine Bruce or BT commentating that block..

Bulls fan since 91 over here :)
Good man. It has been tough though, we've stuck fat through the Jordan "retirement", the Elton Brand and Artest years and having one of the best young talents the NBA has ever seen cut down by multiple knee injuries. Hope we get our act together next season.

You seem to be a regular world North fan Boris. Much more like the ripping blokes I always seem to find in the outer at Roos games that are chill, like a chat and have a kinship with doggies supporters. Glad you haven't been Bigfootyed.

You find blokes in the outer at Roos games?!? Not that there's anything wrong with that........

Big time congrats to Lebron and the cavs. They both deserve that title. The way the cavs fought after game 4 was incredible. Hats off to them.

Incredibly proud of my dubs as well. 73 wins, western conference champions, back to back mvps for Steph. Amazing.

Didn't play well down the stretch, but that's life. Proud of the organisation and the way they do business. Let's hope the doggies are on a similar path.

This year has given the underdogs with tragic histories some hope. First Leicester city, now Cleveland getting a title. The Chicago Cubs could also break the longest of droughts this year.

It gives us Bulldogs fans hope!

Well done Lebron. An amazing effort.

Lebrons run down blocks from behind are my favourite part of his game. That one today was insane.

It is with great sadness that I let you know that my mum, Western Bulldogs Member 2653108, entered inpatient care hospice on Tuesday and has been given only a few more days to live. As many of you know, for the past 13 and a half years I have been full time caregiver for both my late father who passed away in 2004 and for my mum. That has been the reason for me not returning to Australia sooner. It has been the greatest honour for me to have helped both live in their home of nearly 55 years until the end. One of my goals was to get mum to her 90th birthday which we celebrated last October. She has been declining rapidly the past two weeks, but I tried to encourage her to make it until November so she could celebrate the first World Series Championship in her lifetime for our beloved Chicago Cubs.

I’d appreciate keeping her in your prayers for those who believe and in your thoughts from others.

In case you hadn’t seen this pic that I’ve posted before, this is mum and dad at the Whitten Oval in May 1979.

All the very best Chicago. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and mum.
Very close to the heart here as my mum turns 93 on Wednesday and is currently in a nursing home (with her bulldogs scarf of course! ).
Stay strong buddy - you know your love and care has made mum's last days as comfortable as possible. You're an angel with invisible wings by the sound of it.
All the best
