The goal kicking problems from simple set shots are an epidemic across the comp. It’s no doubt recency bias on my part, but it feels like it’s incredibly poor right now. Every game has several examples of terrible misses, and some shocking technique by the look of it.

The good news there is that our typically poor goal kicking might not matter as much if everyone else is abysmal at it…

A little. But they’re no chance at finals and can dent Geelong’s hopes a little. Plus we know that Tom Green, Callaghan, Cadman and the others will be in Victoria in a few years anyway so the rebuild will fail.

So a GWS win with a minor injury to Stewart that sees him miss next week would be great, thanks.
