Also made more hilarious by a common insult being that we're a bunch of knitters and chardonnay sippers.

So which is it? Feral or timid?
Both apparently.

Chardonnay is not exactly associated with snobbery anymore either so I’m not sure what to make of it.

After reading the last couple of pages of this thread I went over and had a look at the Freo board.

Good lord, what an embarrassment. It really is like a sickness this umpire thing.

I wonder if they're flossing correctly?

Might be time for a refloss.

A bloke named Joel decided to chime in on the "West Coast noise of affirmation frees in Perth" discussion on SEN this morning.
Brought up Adam Goodes retiring early due to feral West coast booing and almost ruining the lives of Goodes and Winmar due to the noise from the WC fans.
Gerard asked in response "Are you a Fremantle supporter?". Joel replied with a yes with a "you got me" tone.

Short memories

AFL finals: Fremantle fans warned about booing Adam Goodes

Watching one of the AFL shows last night, think it was the one he does with King, Dermot mentioned he didn't think the set up of the new stadium made it intimidating, he said Adelaide's ground and another, can't remember which were far more so for visiting teams due to the layout.
At the end of the day it's the umps that blow the whistle not the players or supporters, wish the morons whinging like stuck pigs could get that through their thick skull's.

What rhymes with Ross, Boss and Floss?

Loss. (And Toss)

Need to post this as its floored me

Mate of mine lost his 12 yr old daughter suddenly over the weekend

Turns out she had a massive tumor growing with no signs of it until too late - this growth was pushing against her organs leading to the collapse.

Upon further scans, her brain was found to have been severely damaged in this short space of time.

Think most of you know I have 3 fit, fantastic daughters. Two that are around this age.

To have that taken away....I'm no sure I could ever recover. Actually I know I wouldn't recover.

This news has hit me pretty hard.

We all sweat the small things so much.

Whats the point.

Biggie

Certainly brings some perspective when these things happen.

I told my daughter off for something silly before leaving for work this morning, and when you hear the shit other's have to go through with sick and dying kids it makes you wonder why you worry about some of the stupidest shit.

Keep your head up.

That's awful news Biggie.

I do this as well.

Almost every single time it's not worth it.

Sometimes I hate being an adult.

That is terrible to hear. My deepest condolences to your friend and his family.

Can't imagine what it would be like. I have two boys who are my everything. My only wish is that no harm ever comes to them in this world.

We've had some scares every now and then, but having to live through the nightmare... my most heart felt sympathies going out to your mate. :(

I feel sick just reading this. As anyone with kids knows this is worst thing that could ever happen as a parent. I know that is something I would never recover from and it scare me to hell. Tell your family you love them everyday.

I have 3 girls too. Hearing stories about losing the life lottery always gets me because you just never know. Not much you can do other than enjoy the time you've got together I suppose.

Thanks for sharing Biggie.

Tribunal chairman David Jones about Grimes: "He's having a bad trot"

Fremantle just submitted into evidence a 2007 Colin Sylvia incident that was graded careless not intentional.

Top QC-ing.

Typical Fremantle, always living in the past

One of the only handful of players to play in 3 countries but hasn't played a Friday night game. Wouldn't be surprised to hear some average blues player knocks up 50 Friday night games in a decades time.

Didn't know that domestic violence cases could be used as evidence.

Will they submit the pr0n/prostitution and credit card fraud as evidence tonight too?
